I currently own [a 1988 OUTRAGE 22] with a Mercury 200-HP two-stroke-power-cycle engine. I am considering putting that Mercury 200-HP on a 2004 190 NANTUCKET. Please give me a comparison. I have never been on the 2004 190 NANTUCKET.

2004 190 NANTUCKET v. 1988 Outrage 22
Re: 2004 190 NANTUCKET v. 1988 Outrage 22
In 2004, The Outrage 19 was called the Nantucket. It was renamed Outrage 190 in 2006

The 2004 Nantucket weights the same (2050 lbs) as the 1998 Outrage 22 but is only 18'10 LOA.
The Nantucket has the Accutrack hull so it will have a better ride. While it was introduced with a 115hp engine, the current model offers a 150 or 200.

Re: 2004 190 NANTUCKET v. 1988 Outrage 22
Phil--thanks for your comments and for straightening out the model names.
Regarding your proposal that an 19-foot Accutrak hull will have a better ride than a 22-foot classic Boston Whaler OUTRAGE hull, I think you might get some arguments in favor of the 22 inasmuch as its hull is three feet longer.
I am not sure exactly what sort of "comparison" is being solicited between the two boats. Perhaps FINA can elaborate about what sort of information he is most interested to know about the 190 NANTUCKET or 190 OUTRAGE.

Note: FINA replied to the comments in this thread that he had the wrong boats in his initial posting. I moved his request for comments on different boats to a new thread.
