Here is a view of a raft of seven boats from our Boston Whaler Great Lakes Cruising Club's 2016 Cruise of the North Channel. Four boats have twin engines. One boat has a main engine and auxiliary. Two boats have single engines.

There are six Evinrude and six Yamaha engines shown. The six Evinrude engines are all E-TEC engines: one 225, two 250, and three 300-HP engines. The six Yamaha engines are a mix of two-stroke and four-stroke power: three 200-HP classic carburetor engines, and one 8-HP auxiliary and two F150 four-stroke engines.

The total engine power in this view is 2,533-HP. When this fleet runs at maximum throttle, it consumes gasoline at a rate of about 250-GPH.

Jim you forgot the inflatable you are sitting in, you can add two 2.5 Suzuki four strokes for the two inflatable boats

Too bad DRIFTWOOD was not with the group for this picture. Her presence would have changed the survey results.
