RAGE 14 and RAGE 15

I'm considering getting a 14 or 15 Rage. I want a boat to do slow, wake-board-type towing on a lake. I need it to tow at 9 to 14-MPH range. It will be towing foil-boarders.
I'm very interested to hear from Whaler owners since my experience with other jet power boats and PWC is it can be difficult to modulate power and speed at speeds at or slightly above planing speed since a jet drive does not have a "bite" on the water like an outboard propeller.
