Due to the limited production and the limited popularity of the SL16, there is not much technical information specific to this model. I have been trying to figure where the SL 16 hull design fits in with the other models. I have taken accurate measurements of the hull dead rise.

The SL 16 hull starts with a variable hull dead rise at the bow of just less than 45 degrees at entry to a smooth transition to around 25 midship and finishes with an 18 degree dead rise at transom. This is slightly more than the MONTAUK hull at transom (16 degrees) and more aligned with the OUTRAGE 17 hull (18 degrees) transom.

With the proper weight distribution of the battery in center console and the correct propeller, the SL16 boat is well behaved.

Any iPhone has a built-in inclinometer.

I think you are saying you used some sort of smartphone inclinometer. Is that correct?
