There might be some opportunities for a simple and fun rendezvous near where we live or perhaps a bit further North like Leland or Sleeping Bear. There is also a likelihood that one of my long-term-Whaler-pals and his wife will be in Michigan end of August and early September.

Who's in for some fun out of Muskegon--which is a terrific harbor?

Other option is a Grand Haven-Spring Lake-Fruitport cruise with possible Lake Michigan leg if conditions are good, or. if not good conditions, a river cruise up the Grand River. We can use transient docks at Grand Haven most of the time. Muskegon has tons of options, too, and several restaurants with dockage.
