Evinrude ICON EST Network Connectors

The Evinrude ICON electronic shift and throttle (EST) network is wired with 6-pin circular connectors that are a bit unique. They are similar to the much more common DeviceNET 5-pin circular connectors used for NMEA-2000 network wiring, but contain an extra pin, Pin-6, which carries a hardware-implemented STOP circuit for the engine. This ensures the engine can be shut down when necessary even if there is a network communication failure. The network power also seems to be unipolar, using positive and ground. The drawing below details these connectors, showing the pin/socket orientation, the signals, and the wire colors used in the cable:
