Norman pin

Postby Sailfish_wc » Thu Apr 23, 2020 1:47 pm

Is there a brass insert that the Norman pin slides through?
My bow piece is missing (the fiberglass riser) and I’m going to make a new one
I’ve found the pin parts for sale but see no mention of a flange/housing.
In this pic I found it appears there is one

No flange or insert, just the normin pin that screws together and makes contact with the gelcoat. Looks like someone made a modification in that pic.
