Pantone Gray Gel Coat

I have a 1997 20 Outrage that I'm having some gel coat repairs done on. My boat, along with many c.1990 Boston Whaler boats--from what I understand--has a deck color of Pantone Gray rather than a white hull color. You can hardly tell a difference between PantoneGray and white, but there is a difference. Of course, as luck would have it, Pantone Gray is only available from Spectrum in a one-gallon size at a cost of nearly $200. Since I don't need much and the shelf life is only six months, I wanted to see if anyone here might be interested in sharing any portion of the gel coat to help defray the cost but more so to avoid wasting so much gel coat. I am not quite onboard with your designation of the hull color as "Pantone Gray." Pantone is a general color system, and there are hundreds of shades of gray. See

Could you pass along the source where you found the hull color of a c.1990 BostonWhaler would be designated as "Pantone Gray"?

Thanks for the reply Jim. I got the color information from Boston Whaler Customer Service. They did a lookup on my Hull ID# and gave me the hull and deck color. Deck was called "Pantone Gray". I have the color code at home but not with me at the moment. I guess it's just Spectrum's variation of gray based on the Pantone scale? Not sure there.

I confirmed with BW Customer Service again and they said the Hull is White 2216 and the Interior/Deck, Console/Etc. is Pantone Gray 2213. I called Spectrum back to see if they had something close to 2213 available in a patch kit or quart. They are supposed to call me back.
