My Whaler History

I heard that there is a data base or records of each Whaler. Kind of a birth certificate, and maybe a chain of Title owners before me? Can someone on CW direct me on How I can research my Whalers history?

Outside of the original purchaser that may have registered the boat with Whaler for the hull warranty, I don't see Boston Whaler having any information on succeeding owners. Registration is a State specific function that does not involve the manufacturer.
