If you want to post, the software requires that you "register". Please don't worry about a "privacy" issue; I'm not collecting data about you.Forums where the posters have an "identity" tend to maintain more decorum compared to those where posts can be made anonymously. So please take the time to register, which will permit you to comment on topics and create your own topics. Thanks, --jim |

Of course, you don't have to register in order to read the Forum, but then, if everyone did that, there wouldn't be much to read....--jim |

OK, if you are still reading, perhaps you are interested. To get back to the other topics, you navigate by using the graphical representation of folders at the top of this page. Scroll up to the top and you will see the topic hierarchy diagramed with small folder icons. You can click on the topic "Classic Whaler: General" to get back to the rest of the topics in this forum. To start a new topic, just click on the "Start New Topic" icon. --jim |

Oops! That last post demonstrates one problem: once you post something it is just about impossible to edit it, so please check your post before you hit that "SUBMIT REPLY" button. What I meant to say was that to start a new topic thread you use the "POST NEW TOPIC" icon. I think you find that this forum software is quite simple to use. There is a short FAQ section which should answer most of your questions. --jim |

And I should also mention, you can reply to a current Topic or Thread by using the POST REPLY button/Icon. |

Jim - Thanks much for putting togeather this forum. I got a mass email from Larry who mentioned it. I'd been in before, prior to you engaging the forum software. We've really needed something like this, thats simple to use. With a fellow BW enthusiast as a moderator, I know the forum will be well run. I've been active in a few forums over on Compuserve, and the most active ones are the ones with a system op "presence" that can keep flame wars to a minimum, and prevent thread drift. As my wife and I have cruised the N/C area for years in BW's, your site was a nice find. We've been staying up at a resort called Northernaire in the southeastern end of Bayfield Sound (northernairelodge.com) Been taking the kids up there for the last decade. Now we trailer the Outrage and a BW 20' catermaran up for two weeks in August. Best of luck! Don McIntyre, Port Huron |
