  14 ' super sport?

I found out about a whaler for sale through a friend. I spoke to the owner, he believes that the boat is a 14' super sport. Is there such a boat? I think it must be a 13' SS. He says the lenght is about 13'6". Its a 1988 hull with a 92 mercury 40hp. Asking price with trailer is $4500. The owner feels that the boat is in excellent condition. He's including a bimini top, extra fuel tanks, etc. I think the price is reasonable for a 13'SS.

David, It sounds like a `13 Supersport and the actual length is 13`3" because the `15 Supersport is 15`4". I am dealing on a freshwater `87 15` Supersport with a `87 Johnson 60h.p. with oil-injection but manual tilt-trim also comes with a galvinized trailer, I would say the boat is in average condition. They are asking $5500 o/b/o I offered $3000, they countered with $4700. The boat is worth about $4000-$4500, so I will counter again. I will stop at $4000. I hope this helps. JACK. P.S. Take into account for fresh or saltwater boat. Saltwater is worth much less!
