I am going to look at a 75` Currituck. Is this boat a Sport? Does it have the old sea sled hull design? Does it have blue or tan interior? It is in better than average condition with 75` 85H.P. Johnson with no tilt/trim or oil-injection. It has a painted trailer in average condition. They are asking $5500. What is this boat like and what are they worth? Help!-JACK.

Jack: There is information on this in the "16-17" section on this site. The 1975 Currituck was the last year that name was used, changing in 1976 to the 17 Sport, with the new hull design. The hull was desert tan in 1975, and it was the original, pre-smirk, design. This interior configuration of the 16/17 hulls is best suited for inland water use, since you can't stand up to drive. |

Thank you for responding. This is exactly the boat I have been looking for. Side steering, old hull design, tan gelcoat, and in excellent shape. The only thing it doesn`t have is power tilt/trim, oh well I`ll get by! P.S. I will be taking this boat all over Lale Erie, even offshore! Regards-JACK. |
