Hot off the press---
Just received in the mail today Portage Entry Marine's announcement for the 10th anniversary of their Great Lakes Rendezvous. To be held this year at the Crew's Nest, Put-In-Bay (Lake Erie), August 9, 10 & 11.
Rats! I'm going to be up at our place in the North Channel August 3 to 13. Guess this isn't the year to consider a Mosquito Island Rendezvous in the North Channel, at least not during that time frame, huh?
Just have to do it another time, Jim...
Attended my first Rendezvous last year and had a great time; sorry to miss it this summer, especially due to the fact that it will be at Put-In-Bay, a spot I've wanted an excuse to visit, AND, they will raffle off a 2000 BW Sport 13. Here's the poop, for anyone who is interested, but hasn't attended one before---

John, I may go to the Rendezvous in Put-In-Bay, to bad you can`t go. I have been to Portage Entry Marine, they are very Whaler knowledgeable, unlike Marine-Max. I will deal with them when I need parts or service. They also have a nice selection of used Classics, but their prices are thru the roof, thats why I won`t buy a used Whaler from them, their high because of the area, I don`t blame them. Regards-JACK.
