posted 05-23-2000 04:02 PM ET (US) I'm in the process of re-varnishing the seats and console on my 13 footer and have realized that it's a lot of work that I want to put off doing again for as long as possible. With that in mind.... I am planning to leave the boat in the water for the summer and wanted to get a mooring cover for it. Do you guys know of any that you might recommend? Thanks in advance for the help, John

I would recommend the Mills Co canvas for a mooring cover. You can find contact info about them in the OEM sources section of the forum, under the "Canvas" thread. There is also an excellent series of interviews with one of the Mill's family members on the "Whaler Radio" section of this web site.
Mills was the supplier of canvas covers and accessories to Whaler through the early 90's. The offer top quality products, as many other posts on this forum will attest!

Doug, Thanks for the information. From the look of the posts in the canvas thread, the Mills shop does quality work. I'll be sure to give them a call - John
