We've got a BW 15' Sport with some aftermarket seats - foam padding covered by
vinyl. They're a lot more comfy than the stock wooden bench! Unfortunately, they seem
to have become somewhat waterlogged. When you sit on the (externally dry) seat, within
a few moments, your pants become rather damp. This is true even after the boat's been
in my garage for a week since the last use. I don't care that much because we use the
boat for waterskiing, but it's driving my wife crazy.

Help! Any ideas for drying out the seats?

Sorry to hear that -- the original equipment seating on my '89 Outrage all has zippers on back that allow the interior foam to be removed. The foam drains right off and I can turn the upholstery inside out to ensure a complete dry. It all still looks (and smells) new! I wonder if Brunswick Whalers are made this thoughtfully. Perhaps a zipper mod to yours would be the answer.
