I've been looking at 15's lately...What are they worth?

One is an 85' sport with 85' Evinrude 70 with seatbacks, nice hull, good motor (as good as 15 years of salt could be), average wood, trailer, cover....$4600 (the guy is pretty negotiable.

The other is a 90' supersport with a 93' Merc and average++ wood, hull and motor in good shape, trailer. $5000 firm... Whch the guy is telling me is a steal.....Thoughts anyone?

Thanks,

-Jay

Both those boats seem attractively priced.

I am sure that 15-foot Super Sport models have sold for quite a bit more than $5K.

I've seen people asking much more than that--almost double--although I don't know exactly what they ultimately sold for.

I agree w/ jimh, the prices do sound very reasonable. I have an '87 SS15, with a 60HP Evinrude, great shape, with galv. trailer, asking price was $5800, I paid $5200 early this year. The '90 could be a steal, chk it out in detail, take it for a cruise, etc,
Good luck!

That '90 does sound like a steal! My '86 with '92 Evinrude 70 has offers of more than that all the time... go for it!
