Folks -
I'm wondering if the Sunbrella canvas mooring covers supposedly designed specifically for a Boston Whaler Montauk with railings will fit my 1964 Sakonnet with railings? Is the Sakonnet's console too large for these covers?

I appreciate any help or advice you can offer.

Justin

You would have to specify which boat you have. There was a change in the positioning of the mounting plates of the bow rail when Boston Whaler moved to the welded rail. The cutouts for the posts won't be in the same place between the two styles. They do make covers to fit both the old and new style rails, though, so the other question would be whether the cover will fit over the console and pilot seat. Also, if you have the mahogany rod holder boxes on the aft rails, you'd want to mention that. Leslie is the Whaler expert at Mills; great resource.
