My best to all, and to those who can continue to enjoy their Whaler *in the water*, please keep us who can't (looking out the window at a foot of snow!) regalled with all the details throughout the winter!kingfish |

Too COLD to enjoy it now! It just sits there, covered up, reminding me of warmmer daz, each time I look out the window. I'm waiting on a stern seat to get here in a couple of weeks. That will at least give me something to look forward too. You know; putting it in, making sure everything fits, wiping it down, standing back checking it out to make sure everything is just right. Can't wait! Tim tim |

To Kingfish and Whalertim: Eat your hearts out guys. I'm going to spend Thursday a.m.(turkey day) Friday, and Saturday fishing the louisiana waters for reds and specs. The weather is perfect, temp 30-35 in the a.m. to the fifties at noon and early p.m. AND the fishin' is good; reds are running 24-36 inches and specs are 18-24 inches. Maybe I'll finally get the requesite ten hours of break in time on my new engine. Best to all. JimU |

Thanksgiving is the time for thoughts of autumns long ago. Of fields and orchards harvested before the winter's snow. Thanksgiving it's the time for thoughts of special people too. And there couldn't be a nicer time to be remembering all of you great members of the Classic and not so Classic Whaler Forum -- To all of you a very Happy ThanksgivingTom PS I will be expending probably more 12ga shells than I should tomorrow AM --- never fear the pheasants are safe when I'm a field ---

I used to really enjoy Thanksgiving, but now that I have to get up at 2:45 a.m. in order to get downtown (Detroit) and get ready to televise the "America's Thanksgiving Parade", it doesn't seem quite as much fun as it used to be!Watch for coverage of the parade in your local television market; we have a national network of stations that are carrying our broadcast. Happy Thanksgiving, and never bet against the Lions on this day! --jimh |
