Folks -
I'm struggling to find appropriately sized gas tanks for my '64 Sakonet and am intruiged by what appears to be a gas tank in the stern of Bruce Boehle's Nauset (as seen on this website) that contours around the engine well. It can be seen at the following url, half way down the page:
http://www.continuouswave.com/whaler/rendezvous/dayThree.html

Does anyone know if this is indeed his gas tank and, if so, where these can be purchased? Or, does anyone have a specific suggestion for fuel tanks for the old 16' hulls beyond the current Tempo line of products, for either beneath the mahogony console or a stern mounting? I'd like to get my fuel capacity as close to 26 gallons as possible.

Thanks,
Justin

Justin:

Did you see my posting regarding the gas tanks? If you have the boat I beleive you do, then these should be similar.

Funny to see the Ambler, PA address. I grew up in Philly and went to school in Center Valley, Pa (just above Coopersburg) and
regularly drove through Ambler regularly along Rte. 309. Of course, that was 20 years ago...
