james cosby	posted 01-11-2001 07:00 PM ET (US)         I have a 1971 Whaler Outrage 21' with the ribbed sides. I am trying to restore a canvas windscreen for my center console. I think that I will be able to restore the canvas parts, but I can't get the clear plastic part of the windshield clean of stains. Any suggestions??
goldstem	posted 01-12-2001 01:12 PM ET (US)             Get a new canvas with a new window. When my window gave out last year I got a new one made locally for all of $150.
dscew	posted 01-12-2001 04:59 PM ET (US)          Call Mills!! I believe the windscreen you're after is the one that fits the Katama, and Mills sells it for I think $253. The clear plastic goes through the whole windscreen, not just the part cut out of the canvas--makes it sturdier. I have the Katama, and I'll be ordering one from Mills to replace mine too. Good luck...
