I have recently purchased a "75" Menemsha. Records show that these were made from "65-72", but apparantly three years later, 35 more were built. I called BW and talked to Chuck Bennett, he confirmed that this was the case. I also gave him the hull #'s, and when he got back with me, he said it was the last Menemsha built !
I'd like to hear from any other Menemsha owners,(especially 75'ers) to see how many are still floatin' out there.
Could also use some pictures of the bunks without the cushions on them, mine came without.
Thanks for any replys, and thanks Jim, for such a great site!

Whalerfreak, I don`t own a Meneshma, but would love to! Very hard to find, and in good shape are a bit pricey that I have seen. I would like to find one with trailer without power and fix it up for a project. I already have my pride and joy in a 73` `16 Currituck. Good luck with you`re Meneshma. Regards-Jack Graner.

Thanks for the replys everyone. Does anyone think there would be an interest in bringing back a new verson of the Menemsha? I've got a buddy that works at Freightliners prototype dept; says it wouldn't be too hard to make a mold of the exact thing, or maybe something newer looking. Anyone for a hardtop?

1. There are legal implications to pulling a
mold off someone else's product.

2. I suspect the M had a different turtle
(interior hull mold).

3. There's a reason the M didn't sell well.
It's a damn small boat to have a cuddy.

Already checked with BW. Chuck said no problem making copies, since they got rid of the molds, blueprints, sketches, all they have left for info is an old brochure. I'd probably go for something a little less elaborate anyway, like a hatch instead of the gull-wings, and maybe a little shorter.
You're right triblet, takes up a lot of space, but here in the PNW, it's nice to have some shelter.
