"Brunswick to cut 500 jobs"
http://www.boating-industry.com/news.asp?mode=4&N_ID=20672

The news that most are from Sea Ray plants, yet Merc already layed off 150 a while ago!

Hope the ecomomy doesn't go to far south this season.

The Manatee story next to the Brunswick article is really informative. I had no idea the problem was huge. They should be relocated to a safe place. Some day I hope to move south to a city where I can have my boats parked out back/front and roar out to the ocean without NO WAKE/SLOW zones. My Outrage is passed every day by dozens of boats and yes 10% violate the rules and I use my bull horn to tell them to slow down but it's useless. I have my mooring lines the correct length and the boat bangs against the dock for seven months. Last year during a huge storm the water went over the docks but I had enough slack that nothing happened. I love the big rub rail. So far no damage.
