How much water should drain from back bottom drain on montauk when boat is removed from lake. The boat was not run hard but used for fishing and set most of time in lake. Could it be coming from foam in boat? Thanks as usual for you guys great help. P.S boat does not appear to have any breaks in hull.

Are we talking about the rear drain that once you removed the plug, a quantity of water drained? OR the boat is kept in the water _without_ a drain plug installed?

Assuming that you keep the drain plug in, and noticed an excessive amount of water, once out on the trailer and you pulled the plug;

there will be water in a 4" diameter wiring tube that runs from under the console to the rear area, just ahead of the engine well. That is where water will accumulate.
