Is it possible to find some drawings or diagrams of a Super Sport Steering Console and the Storage Locker behind the rear seat? Is it possible to attach the storage locker to the standard backrest on the Sport model, or would you have to buil the seat back and storage loccker together?

Hi J! I restored my 72 sport 2 years ago and used the anniversary edition as a guide. My brother had an 82 that I grow up on and the only thing I didn't like was the lack of storage. I built the console so that the front folds open to hold flares, tackle, first aide equipment, etc. It is cramped with the stearing gear, but works great. I'll try to get some photos online soon. Try to get your hands on some pics of the anniversary edition. I think it will be just what you are looking for.

Over on the other whaler site they have some downloadable manuals that show the layout of the woodwork on the supersport. Good enough to get an idea of what is involved, but not enough to build from.

I posted on the modifications section some pix of the console I have built for my boat. I used the downloaded diagrams as a general guide but built it to my own specs. Here are some in progress pix, and here is the link to my posting on the other forumn:
