Better watch who you flame, a******e. Yeah, I warned someone to be careful if you contacted them. You start messing with me, and you will wish you didn't. What's the matter, couldn't talk him down to your insulting prices? And to think I almost referred a friend to you. Back off, knucklehead. You're only hurting yourself. I know how to run a very successful business. You need some lessons- unfortunately you blew your chances on getting some tips from me. Don't even think of starting a flame war- you're going to lose.

Caddis,

I appreciated the warning on the other forum, but whalerguy already tried to lowball me.

I agree -- keep it off of here. Whalerguy
has been behaving himself here of late.

Entertainment and knowledge, people! Entertainment: like Hooter's posts and Tsuriki's Bimini T, how is that by the way? I just saw one rip off the console of a Mako 17 a few weeks ago. And knowledge: like staying away from people with poor business skills, no names need be mentioned. Or reading LHG’s posts, most definitely one of the most knowledgeable Whaler fans out there.
If you do not like others posts who cares. Don't waste your time reading them but posting on them? That makes no sense! Then stating no one else should either? Please, don't tell me how YOU think things should be, or where others should and shouldn't post!!!!
In my own opinion forums are for the transaction of information. Yes, sometimes strongly opinionated information but none the less information. If an altercation took place in the past make note of it but we all have not been on this site as long as you and some of us may have to figure things out on our own.
I am very curious to read what was in this “threatening” E-mail. I have tracked “thewhalerguy” from E-bay and have not found him to very ethical, many different aliases, and truly bizarre transaction terms at the end of auction involving cash within a very short time frame, auctions being cancelled, and stating he would not purchase a saltwater boat yet bidding on a 22 Outrage from Miami not to long ago. Let the truth be known that things are fishy.
Triblet- Does admitting he made a mistake on a model size and stating how he got if off the trailer exonerate him from all the other crap he has done?

No, but he hasn't been mudslinging here
lately, and I don't want to see others start
it here.

Ok.

I still don't understand where everyone gets off stating how things "should" be done, too many captains on this ship I guess.

If caddis and whalerguy want to send e.mail back and forth to settle their differences, fine. What is wrong with asking they keep it that way and don't air their personal beef here?

Jeeez not rocket science.

Tsuriki-

Considering Whalerguy has a buisness selling whalers, I find it rather pertinant as to what was stated between the two. For future reference, or for others who may or may not do business with Whalerguy. Sure caddis could of aproached it differently but I am sick of you people on forums who feel they can censor others thought, or comments. He didn't use any vulgarities whats your problem?

P.S. Settle down on the Rocket Science comment after all You are the one who spent money on a Bimini-T...Right?

Jeeez,

PS It doesn't sound personal, more business. If it were personal I would agree with you.

Okay, guys, before it gets any more out of had, let's get something straight:

Triblet- Mudslinging? Don't shoot the messenger here. What Greg did was send me an e-mail containing the whalerguy.com background, and on it includedimages from my personal web page, mostly of my family. At the top it contained the text of a message I had posted on another bulletin board, which he evidently found. An individual was selling his whaler, and I suggested he post it here. My postscript said "Stay away from the whalerguy if he contacts you!" Anyone see any reason for him to do something like this? Triblet, please lay off the condescending attitude.

Hooter- Practice what you preach. Don't read or respond to the thread. If you ignore the problem, it will just go away, right?

Tsuriki- Here's some rocket science: if I make someone aware of the way this guy handles himself behind the scenes, we will all be better off. I was impressed by lhg's post stating how things were starting to become civil around here (when Greg and outrageman had some good postings back and forth) until Greg pulls something like this. I am entitled to my opinion of the guy, and it is relevant to this site, since he posts and sells here. How is that any different than you giving your opinion on a t-top? Just because it isn't in your interest gives you no right to censor it. I responded to his e-mail before I posted here, and still have not gotten an answer back. I simply asked him, "So what's your point?"

I was going to apologize to everyone here for bringing this subject up, since I was getting a bit bored with the Greg-bashing too. However, the more I think about it, the more relevant it becomes. If someone new to this site sees how unethically this guy works, maybe they won't deal with him. I for one would rather spend a little more for something if it came from a reliable and trusting source, than get a better deal from someone that doesn't conduct himself in an ethical fashion.

Contender25- Entertainment and Knowlege- right on! Couldn't say it any better than that!

Personally, I follow quite a few bulletin boards, and some of them can get downright vicious in the posts. This is one place I can go for knowledge and civil discourse on topics that are very relevant to me. If Greg was just someone who posts to this site and not trying to conduct business, I would have kept this between him and myself.

Sorry for the length.
