picked my 17' whaler up from the dealer a couple of weeks ago after having some routine engine service done. just last week i noticed a 4 inch crack in the side of the hull. looks like maybe a truck backed into my boat when it was sitting on the lot or maybe they hit it with another boat that they were moving around. the fiberglass is cracked all the way through to the foam. the dealer said he could repair it but i was wondering if there might be any problems with delamination and whether this could diminish the boats structural integrity or value. thanks again.

Dude, that sucks! I would make them fix and fix it perfectly and throw something in for being so reckless with you`re baby! And whoever did it should step forward and admit to hitting it, then they should pay for it! Good luck-Jack Graner.
