I own a perfect 1989 15 Ft supersport. I have 3 questions. Are the brackets to install a trolling motor still available? Was a fuel tank made to fit under the seat? Is a Mills 650.00 cover worth the price?
Thanks

Look carefully through the REFERENCE/15/ section. There are photos of the 15-SS with fuel tanks. There is a Whaler drawing of the auxillary motor bracket, too.

A fuel tank will fit under the seat. You can use the Pate brand tank or a cheaper Tempo model.

The Mills canvas is pricey, but the general opinion is you get what you pay for. Their products have a reputation for long-life. There are some catalog-sold covers that are about a third of the price. They may not fit as well or last as long. It depends on what your needs are.

How can I get in touch with that company Pate Plactics for the fuel tank? Do I need to make a bracket for the trolling motor or is it still available? If you look at the picture it would make sense for the fill to be in the back and the tank should probally not be near your feet.

Interesting.
I wouldn't mind adding cushions to my GLS.
Are the bow and front seat cushions available new?
If not, and I need to have them custom made, how do they fasten?
Velcro or snaps? (I hate drilling)

I have original cushions and they have snaps that you have to install on the wood

Great tanks. I bought a 24gal for my Montauk. Rex

With the storage compartment on the 15 SS, the usual long and low underseat tanks by Tempo or Pate may not work. These are designed to extend behind the thwart seat on the Sport models, exposing the filler cap and connections. If it goes in front of the storage compartment, you will lose you foot space.

I tried to order a trolling motor bracket for my 15 from BW earlier this year. It is no longer available. Based on the drawings in the reference section, I will probably make the aluminum parts and find a local shop to weld them up.
An interesting alternative - I have seen a galvanized bracket intended to mount a spare tire to a boat trailer that is a dead-ringer for the BW designed bracket. Just add the wooden part . . .

Thankyou for the address for the tank.
