I purchased the anniversary Edition white three-piece rub rail from Twin Cities Marine for my '59 13' sport. The problem: the lip on my boat is 1 1/2" tall ( in some places a little taller and in some places a little shorter) and the rub rail only covers about 1 3/8". Which means that it doesn't cover it all the way. The question: What do I do about this?

Not going to cover it all. If it did then it would get ripped off if it came down oon something. Should be a little glass running under the rubrail. That should look nice.
