Have a 1979 15' 3" boston whaler sport w/ 1979 johnson 70 hp prop is a 13x19 omc s/s engine turns 5300-5400 rpm at wot with a medium load in the boat have engine set on a high jacker jack plate with 5 1/2 inch setback and raised as high as i can go before prop blows out and still have 20+ psi water pressure. I get about 43 mph top end and a good hole shot. question is wouldthe stilleto 13.25 x19 s/s performance prop give me any performance gains over to omc s/s prop, and what would they be thanks for all responses.

You redline at 5500 so you are propped right. The 79 is rated different that 84 and up so you are roughly 60+ hp with the wear & tear(sorry). If you were to step up to a ss prop(I only run SS) I would get the 13x18. If you wind up turning over 5500(doubt it) you can have it cupped$10 and that will drop you down a hunred or so. The ss should give you 2-4mph better. My 15 center console with a 1990 70 had a 13x19 double cupped and jacked on the transom. It ran the best speed @ 46.7 on the gps @ 5900 rpm's. My 70 was also pushing about 75 hp.
