Ever since I was a kid growing up in N.Y. very close to the sound I would see this see boat and always wanted one. Well I finally got one a 1987 classic w/Yamaha 90 this boat and motor were covered for years the motor only has 250 hrs. The hull has never been painted the console has never been damaged looks like it came out of box yesterday. I cleaned the boat with simple green and it looks like it should be in a showroom. Get ready I only paid 7000 unreal. I guess the moral of this story is don't ever rush things because good things come to those who wait......Oh for those of you who are thinking there is something wrong the boat and motor they were both checked out by an x- whaler dealer and both were great.

Sounds like you've gotten into Whaler ownership at a good price point. Of course, that's just the beginning. Now there's all those catelogs full of accessories to buy!

Welcome aboard,
