I am purchasing a 1974 standard. I wish to add wheel steering. does anyone have a template for the steering console ? I actually thought of building it out of Starboard. Has anyone done this ?
Is the glass setup for a supersport available anywhere ?
I am also speaking with the folks at Harpoon Marine .... anyone installed one of their consoles ?
Help !!

Search through the forum posts, last 3 months, and you should find the info on building the 13 Sport console. I posted the dimensions.
By comparing those to some pictures on this website, you should be able to build one. I have also seen a 15 Sport rebuilt in black Starboard. Looked pretty nice. The vertical console leg was made from double 3/4" thickness. I sent some of those pictures to JimH.

Guy near me has an old 13 painted green with a 50 Mariner. The interior is all starboard(tan) Looks pretty cool. The seats are supported because a starboard thwart will not support the weight. Great replacement for the front hatch covers, especially the teak Montauk ones.

Bertramp,

Here's the link for the dimensions. http://continuouswave.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000692.html Thanks to lhg for them. They are accurate except for the description of the "seat back" piece which is actually made from 5/4 (1" net) and not 1/2" as stated. It appears as 1/2" because of the rabbet cut into the end that attaches to the "leg".

I am working on transferring lhg's dimensions into a CAD drawing and would share it with anybody who wants a copy. (Aaron, I haven't forgotten you...they are coming)
