A friend of mine is looking at what he claims ,is a 1989 25 Whaler with Twin IO's in FLA. He asked if I knew anything about the boat. I see in Cetacea, a picture of an 82 Outrage Cuddy with a single Merc 260 IO....
Does anyone know anything about a 25 with twin IO's ?

I believe they were offered w/ single or twin o/b's. Twin seadrives, single v-8 i/o or twin 4cyl(470's) I/o's. The 470's are 165 0r 170hp and are half a 460 ford head and an alum Mercruiser block. Freshwater cooled, but make sure they have the alternator conversions done, they came with an outboard style alternator that sucked.
