hardensheetmetal	posted 07-10-2001 10:53 PM ET (US)         I was just curious as to when the anual Whaler dealer meeting is. Has anyone heard any rumors of new models? ( I'm just waiting for the axe to fall across the bow of the current Montauk) Dan
flwhaler	posted 07-11-2001 09:32 AM ET (US)             The whaler meeting this year is at a Casino in Boloxi Ms. I don't think the 17 is going any place. But I do think that there will be new names and size changes for current models. I do know there is a new boat on the drawing board that is to compete in the Contender SKA kinda fishing?? dunno if it still is??
Translation	posted 07-11-2001 11:02 AM ET (US)          27 Outrage will be a new hull, a narrow-beam deep v. On the drawing board is a 31 outrage, another narrow-beam deep v, but no date is set. The 31 been discussed for a while but now that the business is back in the doldrums....
