You old sea dog, nice to see you again! As much as this forum has moved over the years it's nice to see a familiar face.

Still grateful for the outboard motor advice, can you believe it's 4 years ago??

Take care,

Rich, my old brain can't recall the specifics of advice... was it in regard to powering a 15 with a 4 cyl 40 Merc by any chance? If it was did you "fall in love" as I predicted? What's that? Hearing voices again? When I finally go I hope it's in a classic Whaler with my hand on the throttle. I envy all you younger guys out there and don't take a minute in a Whaler (no matter what engine) for granted. Relative to the classic Whalers: sometimes I think some superior alien beings must have dropped them on us as an experiment! Must be those voices again! Happy Whalin'... Clark... Spruce Creek Navy

That's the one Clark! You mentioned that the Merc 4-cyl 40 had this certain sound at high RPMs that I would fall in love with.

Roger that. :)

Thanks again, my friend.

As I recall yours is a very fine looking example of the classic 15 Sport with all the railings, etc... Happy Whalin' , Rich... Clark... The Old Man and the Sea
