First Time waxing the boat.
I know I saw a post on Wax before but I couldn't find it. Any one use this stuff-
MEGUIARS Flagship Wax? My Neighbor recommended it. I used a little of the 3M paste and that stuff is hard to buff up. I will be applying it with a random orbital buffer I just got.

I like it it applies well and buffs of pretty easy. If it buffs of to easy in my opion its not a good wax.

I use Flagship. I find that it is a great wax. It does go on and off easily.

My boat sits in a slip, and is used nearly every other day. The wax on the hull is still going strong after about a month.

The ease in which a wax buffs off does NOT determine its quality. For example, Zymol wax is considered by many to be the best wax for cars. It does produce a great shine. The stuff is like buffing off tar. However, it does not las very long at all.

The 3M Liquid Protective Wax goes on easy and buffs out easy. I just used it and time will tell how long it will last...Bob M.

The easier it is to remove, the sooner it stops working. This is usally tue unless you are dealing with silicons, teflons, and crap like that. Just because it will bead water does not mean it is not fading. I tried that 1 year wax stuff and it faded but still beaded. Had to strip it off, what a pain.
