It has been confirmed that it is okay to use a lifting bridle on my 18' Outrage. Now I am looking for dimensions, and whether I can just use a 3-point harness or whether I will have to use some sort of a spreader bar. Any input?

A spreader bar is not necessary. A three point bridle coming to a single lifting ring is all that is necessary. As far as diminsions, every boat has it's quirks. With the aid of a very good rigging man, you'll need to find your boat's fore-to-aft center point. Remember, this can be effected drastically by the fuel in your tank. He/She will help you do this at the crane. It's the only way to do it. I've lifted hundreds of racing sailboats, many of which were of the same design, and all have slightly different lifting points.
You're lucky you don't need a spreader bar. I have the same boat as you , but with the solid transom. Because of this, I can't lift with the inside rings. The only way I could use a bridle, would be with a bar. Therefore, I've never bothered.
