In a slightly unrelated topic, Does anyone have experience with fresh water cooling in the warn Gulf waters of the west coast of Florida? My father wants to buy an I/O cruiser, and the dealers keep steering him away from it because "the water is too warm & has too much salinity".
Any thoughts?

Maybe "closed cooling" is a more appropriate term...
