Found one for sale for $5200....trailer 1985 65 Evinrude and a 1998 Load rite trailer. Mahogany console and seat and original blue interior. Have not seen the boat other than passing by...so can't speak to condition.
Is this a fair price?
How does the Nauset hull differ from the Montauk or Katama if at all?
Thanks for all responses. I will review the forum for more info on these models as well as the refernec section but any personal testimonials would be welcome.

Same hull, it's the first edition of the Montauk of old, 16'. Look under ref. section of 16' hull. Regards, Jay

Price maybe a bit high. Make sure you do a complete inspection of hull for soft spots etc.. Also check compression of engine. If it's in good condition with a good trailer I would say 4-5k is a fair price. Regards, Jay

Is that a commercial series engine?

Thanks for all the reply's....
I have no idea whether or no the engine is a commercial model or not.
Owner says he will sell with or without trailer and/or motor.
Will be checking it out tomorrow so will have an answer on the motor and general condition of boat.

To all interested
The boat is a total loss and in horrendous condition...almost none of the hardware is even original or salvagable...oh well..
