I recall seeing a small whaler dinghy/tender around the docks somewhere. It was fairly small, around 8'- 10' and had the classic Whaler hull. Was I seeing things, or did Whaler make such a boat? If they did, What was it called? How big was it? Did they make very many? And are they hard to find? I swear I saw one of these dinghy/tenders somewhere in my travels along the docks.

Yes they used to make tenders 9' and 11'4", read under "perfomance 9' or 11'4" for more info.

They also made a 8 footer called the Squall. It could be used with small OB, oars or sail. Had a centerboard too. See them on Ebay from time to time going for less than $500 usually.
