Its funny how you can be at just the right place at the right time. I was travelling north on I-95 in Connecticut this afternoon, probably near Brnford, when I looked accroos the median and saw an unmistakeable smirk headed south. The boat turned out to be the 18" CPD Raider that had been for sale for some time on Ebay. Very cool looking boat with twin 115's I believe, and a small console all the way aft.

I just found this coincidental, as I remember seeing the boat online and now I saw the lucky new owner taking her south.

Are you sure it was sold at auction?

I am not sure of how or if it sold, but I am sure that it was the same boat, there couldn't be too many around, and it was coming fronm the right direction. I had spoken to the guy that was selling it at one point. It seemed interesting enough, but the exterior had been repaired and painted, still a cool boat.

Wow, I just looked at Tom's link, the fellow that bought it put in a final bid more than $3000.00 than the next closest, maybe to top the reserve price, but still, seems steep.
