DECATUR - Authorities have identified the body of a man found at the edge of the Tennessee River Saturday morning as 92-year-old Walter Roy Tennyson of Decatur.
Police were notified by a passing fisherman early Saturday that someone was lying down at the water's edge at Rhodes Ferry Park on the south bank of the river.
No indication of injuries were found on the body and all his personal effects and fishing gear were found near the scene, according to officials.
Family members said he loved to fish. Morgan County Coroner Russ Beard pronounced Tennyson dead at 9:45 a.m.

I'll second that! Only I want to be at my favorite fishing spot in Fla. on my Whaler with a big one on the line. Regards, Jay
