This looks like a nice boat. With the WD and pulpit she must need around 30' of slippage.

Does anyone know what the production on this boat was? How about the price?¤cy=USD&units=Feet

It is a 27 ccc -- with Whaler drive. Base price was $44,000 with a number of options which could bring the boat to well over $50,000 --- add twins plus rigging back then you were at $75,000.

BW in '88 started using the name 27 Outrage cuddy, guess for marketing purposes. I think LHG remembers when this moniker was first applied .

The 27 was made from '83 or '84 till believe '89 or '90 I think -- they made a lot of them in all power configurations --- I was told the best handling were the straight outboard versions --- or ones equipped with after market brackets. The Whaler Drive gave more aft cockpit space but didn't add to performance or handling, a few folks said it actually detracted --- who knows I never handled one.

Our 27 ccc outboard version will get up and fly with the twin 200 Yams --- Clark Roberts will bear me out on that fact and she handles great.

The boat for sale is priced decently, though '91 Mercs well they are '91 Mercs! Surprised an '88 was repowered only 3 years after production.
