Hi, everyone - I ordered a new rubrail for my 13' Whaler, original looking beige/white color. I received three long pieces, I used two of them - I used the heavy part that rivets to the hull, and I used the black rubber insert. The third piece, a thinner piece of beige "rubber", I suppose, I didn't use. It is NEW, and FREE to anyone that wants it, YOU PAY the shipping - $5 (five dollars), I'd guess. Please email me directly: if interested. Gobble gobble. Best, Mav

The way I understood it, the third piece (which I would assume was just an angle pc. of vinyl) was supposed to be used to hide the glue that is left behind when one removes the original all white rubrail. I was glad I had this when I replaced mine, as some gelcoat came off with the old rubrail and this angle pc. did a nice job of dressing things up.

Yep, I believe you're right on Dan. I tried to figure out how to install it but got frustrated and left it off. Looks great without it. For someone that wants a way to hide glue, chips, etc., I think this would be a plus, IF one could figure out how to install it. Best, mav

When I did mine, I held the inner strip on with masking tape, then clamped the hard plastic receiver rail to the gunn'l. As I got ready to rivet it to the boat, I tore off the tape.
