Awards for Jim!
First I would like to thank eveyone who contributed, especially Larry Sherman and Blackdog, they got the ball rolling. Also thanks to lhg, bigz, Kingfish and DrT for their support and input. I would also like to thank everyone on the forum because that's what makes this a forum.
We had 55 members cotribute $1570.00
From these contributions Jim will be receiving the following awards:
a) $1250.00 cash for website upgrades
b) The Danbury Mint Whaler Nauset $128.00
c) A 4' teak bench model "Georgian Bay". $939.00 http://www.rockwoodcasualteak.com/prod_bch_georgianbay.shtml
d) A brass name plate for the bench $37.00
e) A whaler sweatshirt and afghan from Anheuser marketing. $54.00
f) A framed certificte of appreciation from the contributing members. $35.00
g) Freight charges $72.00
I know it doesn't add up right but I told you all when I started that I coudn't add.

jfm,.. thanks for your efforts.we all know and appreciate jimh's good works....and just think of the social service jimh is rendering to society by keeping "us" ( and how would anyone characterize us?)...from getting into more serious trouble than playing here on his classic whaler forum!..interesting,educational and entertaining...a real pleasure.thank you...lm

In response to all emails regarding, is it to late. It's to late to have your name put on the award certificate. However as mentioned before, any contributions made after December 7th will be forwarded to Jim. Regards, Jay

Jay,I think the gift selection's for JFM have been chosen with a lot of thought. JFM,thanks for all the effort that goes into the maintenance of this enjoyable & fine site. We wish everyone a Happy and Healthy Holiday.
As a side note JFM, if you would like to raise your Georgian Bay teak bench, that 4"x6"x1/4" stainless steel channel did a neat job on my RPS.(humor)
