I'm looking for specs on the old standard 11' Boston Whaler: Length, weight, beam, max hp, top speed...

BB,BW states the 11' Std. with a 10 hp top end 18 mph, the steering sport model with a 20hp around 24 mph.. Figures drawn from '77 spec. table. |

With a 15 hp Merc, ours planes quickly and scoots (carrying a 100 lb. teenager or 2); with two full-sized adults, it's not that easy . . . |

Rumor has it that there is still a big demand for the 11' tender, by the yacht crowd. But BW won't build them, even in CPD, because they've invested in the 120 Bumper Boat for this market instead. Talk about dumb. |

I get 25mph out of my 11' supersport according to garmin gps. I have seen it do more or less depending on conditions but thats a good average figure. That's with a johnson 20hp. I love this little boat and consider it a "jack of all trades"...ie I have taken it everywhere from city drainage ditches to 5 miles offshore in the Gulf. They call jetskis "PWC". I consider the 11' a "PLR" or "Personal luxury Runabout" :)
