I was looking at a 1969 Sakonnet with the "work boat" hull. The 1970 Whaler brochure I have shows the "work boat spec's" as a $160 option but gives no details. Does anyone know how much heavier this hull is versus the regular hull?

Thanks

On your 16' model, the catalog did not specify the additional weight. In the 1986 price book, however, workboat specifications for the 17' are shown as adding 150#'s of glass and resin, for a price of $1000 extra.

The 1970 catalog shows the bare hull weight of the 16' boat at 500#.

Anyone have info on a 13 work boat? I have an old blue interior 13 with no rub rail, and kind of a flat 6" deck at the bow. A friend said the Coast Guard had a special 13 and this may be it.
