I presume people are getting sick and tired of water in hull topics.....But I had to share this with you. I purchased a 13' hull 1988 , it is a pretty little hull , until I turned it over it has numerous holes in the bottom. Some are gel coat holes, some are through the green glass. One hole in the bow section, approx 1inch by 2 inches goes through. I put an air hose to the hole to blow out debris...however after I took the air away water came bubbling out!! It pressurized the cavity with the water in it and then expelled the water! I did this several times and recieved probably three ounces of water from that hole......
Thought you might find it interesting as I did....

I would love to know what your hull weights. It would be an excellent point of comparison with CSW. Also, do you think we could get a tiny sample of the foam from your hull so we could compare 1988 foam with 1970 foam?

Hi Tom,
Yes I can get you a sample of foam before I cover it up. Thanks for mailing the strap also. As for getting the weight, I am not sure if I will get around to that..I will keep it in mind to try and get it.
