Has anyone recently had any contact with Jim Knight from The Classic Whaler News? I've been trying him with no luck for over a year at his e-mail, classicwhaler @

About a month ago Jim put some cooler cushions on ebay. I Emailed him a question and he responded that he recognized me. He said he had a new issue of the CWN at the printer and was finally getting organized after a disastrous fire last year.

I later Emailed him looking for some parts. Haven't heard anything since.

Red sky at night. . .

My wife was settling the checkbook on Sunday and asked if I sent a check to CWN. Yes I did last March, lo and behold after Jim's fire he just deposited the check on 1/28/02.

Good luck to Jim.

I got a nice surprise in the mail today - The latest edition of Classic Whaler News. It was nice to see it again after not having received a copy for close to two years, good to see Mr. Knight is up and running again.
