Has anyone checked into purchasing a hull directly from the CPD of Whaler. What is the pricing like. Can someone give me some examples. I'm interested in the Justice 22 Classic Hull.

The conventional wisdom is that you still have to purchase via a dealer. If your dealer is not familiar with the CPD line this could be more difficult than if they have been ordering CPD hulls for local law enforcement, etc., for decades.

Just so you don't confuse a Dealer, the Justice model would be a 21, the Guardian model a 22. The Justices are the new style boats.

Perhaps we can compare notes on outfitting the 22's, if I decide on that over the 25. I have the complete retail price sheet for the CPD boats, and am interested to obtain your opionions regarding power, trailer, etc. I have another post on here for you to review with some of my ideas. With options comparable to the recreational boats of similar configuartion, there is not that big of a price difference.

The CPD boat do have to be ordered through a dealer. I'm planning on using Lauderdale Marine (again), as they offer Mercury or Yamaha power. I'm still reluctant to consider an OMC engine until Bombardier proves that it's quality control campaign is not all marketing rhetoric.

Let me know if I can be of any assistance.
