On Tuesday I headed over to the show at the Bayside Expo in Boston. Mostly because I wanted to see a 13' Whaler but, I took my dear old dad along too. He looked at the Catalina (sailboat) 38 and is planning on trading his 35' sailboat. At the show Russo Marine had the whalers. And Oh My God, how good I ever have wanted the Impact 120. $17,995? The Boat looks uncomfortable! I now know I want the new 13' (show price $9,995.00)

Not a good boat show price for the 13. Seen it at the local Connecticut dealer for $8995.00 complete with trailer & motor

It looks like the main differences in thes show pricing is what the engine is.

The New Orleans Boat Show starts today and runs through Sunday. I'm going on Sunday to see if I can wriggle any special "last day, don't want to take it back to the shop" deals. Ya never know. I'll also report back anything else I see or hear.
